MysticaLiving Astro Diary~I'm Afraid to Use AI
Diary Entry #7
I have a confession.
This image of me was inspired by someone I deeply respect, in the Women Business Community, an incredible teacher and inspiration to me and many others, Chantelle Morrison.
Watching women build meaningful brands while staying authentic gave me permission to think differently.
But before I continue…
This image was created from an actual AI image prompt shared in the Women Business Community using my own photo.
And I must be completely transparent using my image in AI tools scares me.
As an astrologer and Reiki practitioner who studies ancient systems and works in spiritual spaces, I’ve heard many respected teachers express caution around AI tools, and honestly, I understand why.
There is a concern that people believe they can ask AI a question, search Google, and suddenly possess wisdom.
But those who have truly studied astrology, intuitive work, energetic healing, or sacred traditions know something deeper…
Knowledge is not the same thing as embodiment.
Working with the stars carries a HUGE responsibility.
Working in HEALING MODALITIES carries HUGE responsibility.
These are practices that ask something of you. It's not a game.
I’ll never forget something from a Vedic Astrology Course once shared with me:
“When you begin studying astrology, the planets and stars begin watching you.”
Whether you interpret that spiritually, symbolically, or karmically, it stayed with me.
To me, it meant this work asks for integrity.
It asks for humility.
It asks for respect.
So when AI became more present, I resisted.
I worried people would think I wasn’t real.
That my words weren’t mine.
That my years of study would somehow become invisible.
But then something shifted.
I realized the people I admire most are not trusted because they avoid technology.
They’re trusted because they built knowledge first.
They practiced.
They refined.
They stayed consistent.
Their tools did not create their wisdom.
Their wisdom gave direction to their tools.
That changed everything for me.
AI doesn’t replace experience.
It doesn’t replace discernment.
It doesn’t replace years of sitting with charts, studying techniques, holding space for healing, or understanding the language of symbols.
But in the right hands?
It can support creativity.
It can organize ideas.
It can help us express what already lives inside us.
So this image became symbolic for me.
Not of becoming artificial.
But of allowing myself to grow.
This world is changing rapidly.
And maybe the invitation isn’t to reject every new tool.
Maybe it’s to remain rooted while learning new ways to create.
Stay true to your knowledge.
Check and double-check your sources.
Study deeply.
Honor the sacred.
But don’t be afraid to grow with the times.
I’m still Heather.
Still studying.
Still practicing.
Still looking at the stars with reverence.
Just with a few new tools beside me.

Now I truly understand the hesitation, I never saw it that way before. Thank you for sharing this, it was such a beautiful article and it gave me a different perspective too.
